Crazy Weekend Part 2: Sunday

A Van Halen Tribute Bike (someone took my idea)

Well, Sunday was not that crazy until I got home and even then it was not bad but I will save that part for later.

The day started off with the smell of gasoline coming from the garage. Our kitchen is right off the garage so you can not help but smell the overpowering fuel. I went into the garage to discover a puddle of gas lying under my bike that I thought I fixed the night before. Well, after doing some investigation, I need to rebuild the petcock on the fuel tank. The other part that I fixed still appears to be OK. The bike did not make it to the show. Someone once asked what I enjoy doing. My answer, “I enjoy working on my motorcycles. Noticed I said work and not ride."

I made it to the motorcycle show about noon with my father in law and some friends. This event takes place in Libertyville at Austin’s on Route 137. This was the second year and I can say it was twice as big as last year. There were so many motorcycles in the area. It was crazy but a lot of fun. I really enjoy seeing the custom work and the paint schemes. We stayed for about 4 hours and headed back home with burnt skin and a few adult beverages in me. (I was not driving).

Once at home, decided to eat some queso and chill out in front of the TV. I thought my day was complete. NOPE. Jenn wanted me to go to the grocery store with her to get a few things that she forgot the day before. She also needed gas in car. You see, I had to go with because Jenn is a Princess and does not pump her own gas. I know, I opened myself up for comments on that one. I deserve it.

More-Less, that was my weekend. I watched a crappy soft episode of the Sopranos. I am glad there are only three episodes left. Then I can get caught up on 24! Have a good work week!
