Crazy Weekend Part 1: Saturday

Trent’s sporting his new dew!

Ever have one of those weekends where you need a third day to recover from Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was not non-stop for me starting with Trent's and Jenn’s haircut at 9 AM. Then the three of us went to a breakfast benefit for WRLR and the VFW hall in Round Lake Park. It was good to place the DJ's with faces as this was the first time I have met some on the newer shows.

Then it was off to the Super Walmart in Antioch for the regular shopping. I really hate shopping at Walmart but my pregnant wife over ruled me.

I stopped at Nielsen’s motorcycle store to find out they really don't ever keep parts in storage. At least I did not go out of my wife.

The last stop was stopping at the Mexican grocery store for some food that we were preparing for my mother in laws birthday party that night.

Got back to the house, discovered a small ant problem in the house. Got all the food put away. I did some clean up for the party.

I then decided to go to the OTB in McHenry to place my annual wager on the Kentucky derby only to find that they closed down. I did not feel like driving out to Waukegan to place the bet so it turns out that I saved some money this year. I think my horse is still running. (As always)

Once back home, I went into the garage to get the last ditch effort on the bike so I could ride it the to bike show on Sunday. (See part 2).

After dinner, my father in law gave me hand on finishing up the bike. We got it started, no leaks! There was one last adjustment I had to make but I had to look it up on the internet on how to complete it. I figured I would do that in the morning before I left for the show at Austin’s.

The night was not complete until I gave Jenn a back rub. She has been really sore with just three weeks left on her due date. (I needed a back run but I did not complain).

I slept well that night.
