Razor and Splat A while back, I wanted to come up with something to show my kids were I have been on the motorcycle. I also wanted to stop at some historical places that might be on interest at some point for them. My oldest is turning five and thought maybe he could relate to a map but live pictures are always better.
Originally, I was going to use one of his toys but then realized that my son might not be keen to the idea of giving something up for a more than a day. I had to come up with something else. Do I buy a new toy? I wanted something with some connection and something the kids and I could relate too.
As of recent, my sister has been obsessed with crafting. It is Carries outlet like mine is riding. Carrie has even started her own site. In an odd way, she makes crafting cool. Check out her blog here, Ruffled Feathers. The idea of Splat came to me after reading a recent post ofhers. She can make something for me to travel with. It would be original, family crafted, and something the kids could relate to.
Welcome Splat and Splat's twin brother, Road Kill. The traveling road kats. Splat will be making his home in Region 4 (the Midwest) with Razor while his twin brother will be off shortly to see the country. You will get to meet Road Kill later on. Splat has a tatoo with Razors wifes and kids initials. He is family. Road Kill has the initials of STN aka Sport-Touring.net. A frequent site of Razor and Splat.
