This very unusual warm weather has done nothing but play tricks on my head. It is January 7th here, north of Chicago, no snow on the ground and I think it is around 41 degrees out. It has been like this since Christmas.
The warm weather has motivated me to get the garage ready for the spring. From my previous posts, you know I have two motorcycles. Both of them don't run. I spent all last summer, when I was not busy running the election, and planning a festival among other things, trying to fix the bikes. The one above I bought later in the summer for $100.00 at a garage sale. I believe it is on the verge of running.
My dilemma, do I go out into the garage this weekend and try to get the red monster running? If I do, I know it is winter and it will get cold again and snow but at least I have a running bike. I would like to ride at least one of the bikes this year and don't be like the Brady Bunch where "We just fix our bikes. We don't ride them." If I get to the garage, I will share some posts later.
