Back to the ride. For starting off, I can tell that I needed to make some quick adjustments to my riding style and the spirited pace. There were about dozen riders in the group. Matt was in front while Pat was right behind me. I don't feel like I was ever that far behind but I also felt that I could be pushing the corners a bit faster.
Riding those banked corners are still new to me. We don't have roads like that in
I am not sure how long we rode for but we made a group stop at the covered bridge as seen above. Sorry, I am not sure what town it was in. When we first pulled in, I can see that we have to do a 180 turn to get off the main road and onto a dirt gravel road to get into the park. I took my time making the turn and had no issues.
The bridge was huge. It was non-functional but still a site to see. We were able to walk across it and take some peaks at the river through some missing planks. A nice high light for the trip for sure.
